Ingredients:
- 1 pound small or medium golden potatoes
- Olive oil
- Rendezvous Famous Seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- Rendezvous Original Sauce
- Chives and jalapeño, to garnish
- Sour cream, to garnish
Instructions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook potatoes until soft—small ones should take around 20-25 minutes, while medium ones might take closer to 30 minutes.
- Drain and (carefully) pat potatoes dry.
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Spread potatoes onto a small baking sheet and, using a glass cup or plate, press the potatoes to smash them while keeping them entact.
- Arrange smashed potatoes to be touching one another.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Rendezvous seasoning.
- Roast in oven until crispy, about 25-30 minutes.
- Turn oven to “Broil” method.
- Sprinkle potatoes with cheese, crumbled bacon, Rendezvous sauce and more seasoning.
- Return potatoes to the oven and broil until cheese is melty and golden.
- Garnish with chives, jalapeño, and sour cream when ready to serve.
