The Hungry Hooker


  • 1.5-2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2/3 cup Rendezvous bbq sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


  1. Add the chicken breast to your crock pot. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cover with bbq sauce and broth or water.
  3. Add the minced garlic and diced bell pepper.
  4. Stir to combine and cover.
  5. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
  6. After it is finished cooking, take two forks and shred the chicken well.
  7. Once shredded, stir to combine.
  8. Leave sitting on warm until ready to serve, the longer the chicken sits the more juice it will absorb. I usually serve mine 30 minutes to an hour after shredding.
  9. Serve with a side salad, or on a bun, in a tortilla, or in lettuce wraps!
