Ingredients:
- 1.5-2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2/3 cup Rendezvous bbq sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Add the chicken breast to your crock pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover with bbq sauce and broth or water.
- Add the minced garlic and diced bell pepper.
- Stir to combine and cover.
- Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
- After it is finished cooking, take two forks and shred the chicken well.
- Once shredded, stir to combine.
- Leave sitting on warm until ready to serve, the longer the chicken sits the more juice it will absorb. I usually serve mine 30 minutes to an hour after shredding.
- Serve with a side salad, or on a bun, in a tortilla, or in lettuce wraps!
