Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimp, shell on
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp Rendezvous seasoning
- 2 tbsp ghee or butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- salt, to taste
- 1 tsp pepper
- red pepper flakes, to taste
- french bread, optional for serving
Instructions:
- In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and ghee. Let it melt and add the garlic cloves and shallot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, careful not to burn.
- Add the shrimp, juice of half a lemon, lemon slices of the other half, Rendezvous seasoning, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and chicken broth. Turn the heat to low and bring broth to a simmer. Stir to combine the shrimp and seasonings. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve with french bread and enjoy!
