BBQ Pastry Puffs

Makes 32


  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 pound pulled pork shoulder
  • 1 cup Rendezvous barbecue sauce, plus extra for dipping
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Rendezvous seasoning


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Unfold puff pastry sheets and cut each into 16 squares.
  4. In a medium bowl, toss pork shoulder in sauce.
  5. Arrange a spoonful of pork on each puff pastry square, followed by a pinch of cheese.
  6. Fold opposite corners over the filling and press well to seal.
  7. Place on prepared baking sheets.
  8. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Rendezvous seasoning.
  9. Bake 20 minutes.
  10. Serve hot or at room temperature with barbecue sauce.
