Makes 32
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 1 pound pulled pork shoulder
- 1 cup Rendezvous barbecue sauce, plus extra for dipping
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
- 1 egg, beaten
- Rendezvous seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Unfold puff pastry sheets and cut each into 16 squares.
- In a medium bowl, toss pork shoulder in sauce.
- Arrange a spoonful of pork on each puff pastry square, followed by a pinch of cheese.
- Fold opposite corners over the filling and press well to seal.
- Place on prepared baking sheets.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with Rendezvous seasoning.
- Bake 20 minutes.
- Serve hot or at room temperature with barbecue sauce.
