Makes 12

Turn up the flavor of your deviled eggs this Spring — Subtly smoky and just the right amount of spice to give your batch a bold bite.



  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp Rendezvous BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Rendezvous seasoning, plus extra to garnish
  • Pinch sea salt, to garnish
  • Chives, to garnish


  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Remove pot from heat to add eggs (this avoids splattering!).
  3. Return to heat and set timer for 13 minutes.
  4. Prepare an ice bath. Once time is up, transfer boiled eggs to ice bath.
  5. Once eggs have chilled, gently crack and remove shells while running under water.
  6. Slice eggs in half and scoop yolks into a small bowl.
  7. Add mayo, BBQ sauce, mustard, and Rendezvous seasoning.
  8. Stir until well combined.
  9. Transfer to a piping bag and fill the egg whites.
  10. Garnish with Rendezvous seasoning, sea salt, and chives. Enjoy!
